No problem — our team will help identify it. If your garment appears suitable, we will invite you to send it in for physical inspection before confirming the available consignment terms.

How our program works

01   Submit photos for review

Send clear photographs and any details you know about your garment. If you do not know the fur type, our team will help identify it.

02   Send your fur to LaBelle

If your garment passes the photo review, we confirm the send-in shipping cost and provide your label and packing instructions. No upfront payment is required for send-in shipping; the cost will be deducted from your payout when the garment sells. Please wait for approval before shipping.

03   Review your contract

After inspection, review the available consignment or buyout terms and sign your agreement.

Consignment program rules

Acceptance & inspection

Acceptance depends on physical condition and our current inventory needs. Approval after photo review is an invitation to send your garment for inspection; it does not guarantee acceptance for consignment or a buyout offer. Do not ship until you receive shipping instructions.

Garments must be in excellent condition.

Furs with mold, moldy or musty smells, rips, stains, moth damage or other repair needs are not eligible for consignment. Please disclose all known condition issues in your request.

Your options are set out in the contract

After inspecting your garment, we will provide a contract outlining the available options. You can select 50/50 consignment or a buyout where offered. You do not need to select a sale option or enter a selling price on this request form.

Consignment

50/50 split

You receive 50% of the final garment selling price; LaBelle Furs receives 50%. The send-in shipping cost is then deducted from your share of the sale proceeds. The contract establishes a high and low selling price. We may sell within that range without contacting you first. Offers below the agreed low price require your approval.

Consignment payments are made 30 days after the sale to allow for returns. A sale is not guaranteed.

Buyout, where available

An agreed purchase price

If a buyout is offered, the contract specifies the amount LaBelle Furs will pay to purchase your garment and the payment terms. You decide whether to accept.

Buyout availability and pricing depend on inspection and suitability.

Listing, contract & payment

Listings are completed within 30 days of the consignment contract date. The contract continues until canceled by the owner.

Consignment payments are made 30 days after the sale to allow for the customer return period. If the garment is returned, no consignment payment is due for that sale.

Cancellation arrangements and insurance coverage will be stated in your contract before you commit.

Declined garments: return, donation or disposal

If your garment is declined for consignment and you request its return, you are responsible for both the original send-in shipping cost and the return shipping cost. Both charges must be paid before we ship the garment back. Alternatively, if it is declined because of condition, you may authorize LaBelle Furs to accept ownership for donation, repurposing or disposal.

This option is voluntary and requires your express authorization. If your garment is declined because of its condition and you authorize the transfer, LaBelle Furs may donate, repurpose or dispose of it at its discretion. You will receive no payment, the garment will not be returned, and no return shipping charge will apply.

Your first step to consigning with LaBelle

Request a consignment photo review

Upload photographs to begin your consignment request. Not sure what fur you have? No problem — we will help identify it. Submit one request per garment using the same name and email for any additional pieces. Final acceptance and contract terms follow physical inspection.

After photo approval

You are responsible for the cost of shipping your fur to LaBelle Furs, but no upfront payment is required for send-in shipping. After photo approval, we confirm the shipping cost, shipping details and insurance selection, then email your manually prepared label and packing instructions. When the garment sells, the send-in shipping cost is deducted from your consignment payout. If the garment is declined and you request its return, both the original send-in shipping cost and return shipping must be paid before we ship it back. Include your intake reference inside the box. Final consignment eligibility is determined after physical inspection.
